FAQ's ?

Here is a few questions I have found to be frequently asked by my customers.

1. How Many Email Addresses do I get with Which Package ?

• The available email addresses is normally the same as the number of pages on your package, however, I can make an exception and provide more if you require within the same package at no additional charge. If the number of emails requsted is substantially larger than the number of pages, I will discuss with you a seperate fee for the additional mailboxes.

2. Do I need to sign a Contract ?

• No, I like to bargain on your satisfaction. If you don't want to continue, simply let me know and I will remove your site from the internet and that's that.

 

3. Can I take the web site to somebody else ?

• No, The Intellectual Property (the look and feel) stay with me since I have done it for free.
  You are welcome to have somebody else re-design a web site for you from scratch.

 

4. Do you put the sites on the Search Engines ?

• Yes, I submit the Sites to at least 3 search engines,i.e.
• Ananzi,
• Google and
• Yahoo.

5. How quickly can my site be up and running ?

• The registration process and assigning of DNS names can take up to 24 hours.
• I will use that time to at least design a HOME Page. The rest depends on how complex the site is, but a simple, 5 page static web site can be up in a day or two if you supply me with the material in time.

6. Where do YOU get the material ?

• Directly from "you", the customer please. Sometimes I will use my initiative and write a few pages first and show them to you, but since you need to tell me what you want, it needs to come from you.
• It can be either verbal, (in which case I would visit you to take notes), or you can provide me with written copies of the content you like to see. I am very adaptable on this point. You can even email it to me.

7. What about Corrections ?

• Once I have completed the site, I will send you an email or SMS, informing you that the site is now completed. Then you have two weeks in which you can tell me about any errors you find, and I will fix them for free. After two weeks, any remaining defects that is picked up, become changes which is seperate charge to the monthly fee.

8. What about Changes to my Web site at a later stage? (Updated 28 May 2008)

• I have recently revised the method according to which I charge for changes. Changes will be charged at R100 per hour (or part there-of) per occurence of a Change Request.

9. What about photos?

• I would appreciate if you supply me with the photos you want me to place on your site.

10. How Can I Pay?

• Preferably by Internet Bank Transfer, or else a cheque deposit into my Bank Account.
  I prefer not to receive cash.

11. When is payment due.

• Payments are due by the first of every Month.
  I will give leeway till the 5th, after which you will be in danger of having your web site suspended.

12. What happens if I am overdue with my payments.

• Payments are due by the first of every Month.
  I will give leeway till the 5th, after which you will be in danger of having your web site suspended.
• There is no fine for late payments but there is a fee charged for recovering your site if it has aleady been suspended. (R100).
  I wil inform you via a note on your Invoice or an email, advising you about your overdue account. Should I receive no response within a week or so (my prerogative on timing) or a negative response, I will simply remove the site.
